Grace Ellery

Club Pro

705-821-1199 (cell)

My name is Grace Ellery and I am thrilled to be back for another season at FFTC as the Club Pro. I am in grade 11 at Fenelon Falls Secondary School. I love living in the Kawartha’s and I am proud to call Fenelon Falls my home town. I am a sports enthusiast playing every sport that I can pack into my schedule (baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, hockey, rugby, basketball). I have played Inferno Soccer on a first-place division team, I also play Lindsay Lynx hockey winning provincial gold and bronze but I have realized that tennis is my ultimate love. I have been taking tennis lessons since I was 5 years old, deciding in 2018 that I would like to play more competitively and was accepted into the high-performance program in Newmarket, Ontario under the coaching leadership of Brian Draxl and Shane Hickson. I am passionate about playing tennis but I am most passionate about teaching tennis to members of my community. I believe that learning good technique, positioning and footwork establishes a solid foundation to play the game. I want others to experience the amazing the game of tennis.

This summer I will be running two Adult Clinics on Sunday mornings grouped into two skill levels.

I also be will running summer camps for kids age 7-13 beginning July 4th, 1-3 pm, happening all summer long. Camps are based on the Tennis Canada Learn to Play Program and they are a great, inexpensive way to introduce kids to the game.

I also provide private, semi-private and group lessons. See you on the courts!

Hourly Rate:

Private: $35

Semi-Private (2 players): $20/person

Group (3+ players): $15/person

Summer Guest Pro

(July 2nd - July 29th)

Growing up in Toronto, I was a ranked junior tennis player at both the provincial and national levels. Throughout my university years, I was a tennis instructor for the Ontario Tennis Association and club professional at various tennis clubs in eastern Canada. Since then, I have continued to play competitive tennis at the club level, in the Intercounty & Toronto Ladies Tennis Leagues and, when time permits, in the Canadian Senior Nationals. Recently, I certified as a Club Pro 1 with Tennis Canada and am currently working as a coach for the ACE Tennis Academy at the Toronto Tennis City club.

I am very excited about returning to Fenelon this summer and look forward to working with all the passionate tennis players, both new and returning, at FFTC. Here are some of the services and programs I am offering the FFTC community during the month of July (July 2nd to July 29th):
