I am thrilled to be back for a second season at FFTC as the Club Pro. I am in grade 10 at Fenelon Falls Secondary School, I love living in the Kawartha’s and I am proud to call Fenelon Falls my home town. I am a sports enthusiast playing every sport that I can pack into my schedule (baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, hockey, rugby, basketball), but I have realized that tennis is my ultimate love.

I have been taking tennis lessons since I was 5 years old, deciding in 2018 that I would like to play more competitively and was accepted into the high-performance program in Newmarket, Ontario under the coaching leadership of Brian Draxl and Shane Hickson. Once instructor certification programs commence again, I will be obtaining my instructor certification through Tennis Canada.

I am passionate about playing tennis, but I am most passionate about teaching tennis to members of my community. I believe that learning good technique, positioning and footwork establishes a solid foundation to play the game. I want others to experience how amazing the game of tennis is.

This summer I will be running two Adult Clinics on Sunday mornings (10-11am and 11am-12pm) grouped into two skill levels.

I will also be running Junior Tennis Camps, age 7-13 beginning July 5th 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, happening all summer long. Camps are based on the Tennis Canada Learn to Play Program and they are a great, inexpensive way to introduce kids to the game.

I also provide private, semi-private and group lessons. See you on the courts!

Hourly Rate:

Private: $30

Semi-Private (2 players): $20/person

Group (3+ players): $15/person

Growing up in Toronto, I was a ranked junior tennis player at both the provincial and national levels. Throughout my university years, I was a tennis instructor for the Ontario Tennis Association and club professional at various tennis clubs in eastern Canada. Since then, I have continued to play competitive tennis at the club level, in the Intercounty & Toronto Ladies Tennis Leagues and, when time permits, in the Canadian Senior Nationals. In recent years, I recertified as an Instructor with Tennis Canada and have been running tennis programs for the City of Toronto and assisting with a junior tennis program in east Toronto.

I am passionate about sharing the game of tennis with people of all ages, experience, and skill sets, and look forward to the opportunity of making a positive contribution to the Fenelon Falls Tennis Club this summer. Here are some of the services and programs I am offering the FFTC community during the month of July (June 28th to July 30th):

Live Ball – Wednesdays – 10:30 am to 12:00 pm (starting on June 30th) Action-packed, aerobic doubles tennis with a focus on fitness, fun, and friendship. 90-minutes of situational, non-stop point play. Rate: $15/person/session.
